Saving Drafts and Creating Templates

Saving Drafts and Creating Templates

Not ready to send? You can save a message as a draft to come back to later. If you send similar messages regularly — like a weekly newsletter — you can also save a message as a template to reuse quickly.

Messages → New → Save as Draft / Save Template

How do I save a draft?

  1. While building a message, click Save as Draft at any point.

  2. The message will be saved and you can return to finish it later.

  3. Drafts appear in your Messages list with a Draft status.

How do I create a template?

  1. Build a message as you normally would.

  2. Click Save Template and give it a descriptive name (for example, Weekly Newsletter).

  3. The template will then appear as a quick-start option under the +New button on the Home screen.

System behaviour and restrictions

  • Contributors must draft: Group Contributors must always save messages as drafts — they cannot send messages themselves. An Administrator must review and publish the message.

  • Privacy: Drafts are private to the person who created them unless shared with an Administrator for review.
