The Certificate Template defines the layout of the various items on the certificate. Multiple achievements can be linked to one certificate template. Achievements are set up at My School > Achievements > Achievements.
Four example templates (in blue) in various sizes are available. These can be used as they are, or duplicated and renamed to meet your school's needs.
My School > System > Achievements > Database: Certificate Template
Select the example certificate to be copied.
Click Duplicate Template — a copy with the word _copy attached will be created.
Rename the copy in the Information tab and set the status to Active.
The template consists of four tabs:
Information: Rename the template and set the status (Active or Inactive).
Format: Choose the paper size, orientation, certificate background (uploaded at My School > General > Watermarks > For certificates), and frame settings.
Content: Place the various elements on the certificate. Set the position (top and left), size (width and height), font, size, and style for each of the following items: School name, School logo, Award Information, Learner Name, Learner Grade, Date, Achievement Block Heading, Achievement Block, and Signatures. Only the principal's signature can be printed.
Achievements: Allocate all achievements that should print on the template. Choose the grouping method (all on one certificate, per Category/Activity, or each achievement on a separate certificate). Choose whether activity and category headings should be printed.
Yes, you can use the example certificate as it is. It is recommended to duplicate a copy so that the original example template remains available as a reference.
Use the Preview screen in the Content tab to see how the certificate looks. Adjust the "Space from top" and "Space from left" settings until the element is in the right place. For elements that need to be in the middle of the page, set the width of the text block to the width of the page.
