Creating and editing school teams

• Click Sport Teams then Add team.

• Enter the team name in Afrikaans and in English.

• Select the colour and click Save.

• Double-click any field to edit it. You can change colour definitions by clicking the Colour Definitions button. Click Accept changes when done.

Setting up annual house sport teams

Step 1 tab — Click Step 1: Select teams for 20XX. Select teams on the left and click the right arrow to allocate them.

Step 2 tab — Click Step 2: Select team managers for 20XX. Choose a team, select the team manager on the left and click the right arrow to allocate. Repeat for all teams then click Save.

Setting up rules and learner allocations

You can allocate by Demographics, Learner surname, Register class or Round-robin, and you can create exceptions for each rule. The process has three steps.

Step 1: Rule setup — Select your allocation method (Learner Surname, Register Class, Round-robin or Demographic) and configure the rules. For surname allocation, select letter ranges and use the right arrow to allocate. You can subdivide a letter if needed.

Step 2: Apply rule type — Click each allocation method to apply the rule to learners per your Step 1 setup.

Step 3: Make exceptions — Select a team and grade, choose learners on the left, click the right arrow to allocate, then click Save.
