All of the CAPS curriculum subjects have been pre-loaded into the system. If you are a public school in South Africa, your subjects will already be available in the system (there is no need to create them again). This article will explain how (and why) to edit the available subjects.
Please note: Only the system support team can add additional subjects to your database (due to special Lurits codes that have to be linked to the Department of Education’s regulations). Even for non-official Departmental subjects, please consult the system support team.
Select to view subjects according to their status. One or all of these can be displayed: Active, Inactive and/or deleted.
