This article explains what the Sponsor Portal is, how it works, what it displays, how to control which assets appear on it, and how to share the link with potential sponsors. No login is required for portal visitors.
Sponsor Portal
The Sponsor Portal is a public-facing page where potential sponsors can browse available sponsorship assets and submit enquiries. No login is required. Think of it as your school's shopfront for sponsorship opportunities.
School name, logo, and student count
Weekly reach (student count multiplied by 5 school days)
Grid of available sponsorship assets with names, public descriptions, images, and prices
An enquiry form for each listed asset
All three conditions must be met simultaneously:
List on Sponsor Portal is toggled on in the asset settings
The asset has a price greater than R0
At least one unit is available
Unpriced assets, free assets (R0), and fully booked assets do not appear. This protects the portal from showing assets that cannot actually be sold.
Each asset has two description fields: Description (internal, visible only to school staff) and Public Info (displayed on the portal, intended as a marketing-friendly description for potential sponsors). Use Public Info to make the asset appealing without exposing internal notes.
To add an asset to the portal: go to Assets, edit the asset, toggle List on Sponsor Portal on, fill in Public Info, and Save. To remove an asset: toggle the same setting off and Save.
To preview your portal as a visitor would see it: click Sponsor Portal in the sidebar.
The URL format is: altivo-frontend.vercel.app/sponsor-portal?school={school_id}. Contact d6 support to get your specific link. Share it on your school's website, in emails to potential sponsors, or on social media.
Check all three conditions: the List on Sponsor Portal toggle is on, the price is greater than R0, and at least one unit is available. All three must be true at the same time.
No assets currently meet all three display criteria. Add prices to assets, toggle on the portal flag, and ensure units are available. Then refresh the portal to confirm they appear.
Set a nominal price (e.g. R1) and add a note like "Price negotiable - please enquire" in the Public Info field. This allows the asset to appear on the portal while making clear that the price is flexible.
No. Portal visitors can only see asset names, public descriptions, images, prices, and the enquiry form. They cannot see your sponsor list, financial data, internal notes, or any administrative information.
