1. Indicate the Year, Grade  and the learners for whom the report should be generated. (Mainstream/LSEN)
   
2. Select the type of mark that should be used for the calculations
   
3. Indicate the number of learners to display
   
4. Select the grouping of the report. E.g. Per Grade, Register Class or Subject Group
   
5. Indicate the number of decimals the marks should be rounded to 
   
6. Indicate whether to use accurate marks when calculating the Marks Averages or rounded marks.
   
1. When using accurate marks, the marks are not rounded after every calculation from assessment to component to subject
   
2. When using rounded subject marks, the marks are rounded off after every calculation from assessment to component to subject. This is the way SA-SAMS calculates averages and will therefor be the same marks as the exported SA-SAMS marks.
   
7. Indicate whether learners with incomplete marks, i.e. where marks were entered as "a" (absent) for some assessments, components or subjects should be taken into consideration when calculating the top learners.  When some marks are incomplete, it could favour those learners compared to others that has marks.
   
8. Select the subjects to include in the report and move to the right
   
9. Select the terms which marks should be used in the calculations.
   
10. "Generate" the report to preview, print or download and save, or "Export to Excel" if you have the necessary user rights.
