This document gives information about the various training opportunities that the system offers. We offer Online Training, Classroom Training and e-Learning courses. Easily accessible user manuals can be opened by clicking on the (?) at the top of the buttons.

If no current training sessions are scheduled for your required module, request a session from training@d6.co.za

How to register for training sessions.

  • Select the module that you would like to attend
  • Select the date and time of the training
  • Click on the "register" button
  • Once you have clicked on the "register" button, the system will take you to the booking screen. Fill in your details.
  • Once your information has been entered, click on the "Register now" button
  • You will receive a confirmation email to say that you have registered for training. The email will contain a link that you will use to join the training session.

When you enter your email address, use an email address that you always have access to, as you will need to be able to access the email that is sent to you in order to join the training session at the scheduled time.
Each attendee MUST register with a unique email address since the bookings are done at that address. If two persons book with the same email address, only one will be registered.
Classroom bookings that are not cancelled 24 hours in advance will still be billed.

You will need the following to attend an online session successfully:

  1. A stable, functioning internet connection at the time of the training session.
  2. A quiet environment without interruptions to follow the session.
  3. Adequate time for the session.
  4. PC: A headset or a set of speakers.
Laptop:  The built-in speakers have to be in working condition.
  5. Please save the email sent to you for the day on which the training will take place. Join the session about 10 minutes before the session starts, to ensure that you are connected successfully.

Once the organizer initiated the session:

  1. Familiarise yourself with the Control Panel on the left-hand side
  2. Download the session Manual on the Handouts-button
  3. Questions are typed in the Chatbox. These can be directed specifically to the trainer, or where all attendees will be able to view the question.
Note: The training software reports the time an attendee was actively on the session. If an attendee did not spend adequate time in the session, a Certificate of Attendance will not be issued.

Troubleshooting:

  1. If you are unable to join the session, contact our training department on 087 820 0088.
  2. If you lose the visual or audio connection during the session, close the tab and click the "Join"-button on the e-mail to re-join the session.
  3. if you wish to speak to the trainer during the session, click the mic button in the left panel to request mic activation.
