A lock icon next to a school or group indicates that the school has restricted access. Only parents whose details are registered in the school's d6 system can view content from that school.
This usually happens because:
The school has a different phone number or email address on record for you.
Your details have not yet been added to the school's d6 system.
You are trying to access a school where you are not registered as a parent.
Contact your school and confirm the phone number and email address they have on record for you.
If they have different details, ask them to update your information in their d6 system.
Once updated, open the d6 app, go to Settings, tap on your email or phone number, and select Refresh Login Session.
Refresh your login session in the app. If it is still locked, confirm with the school that your new details have been saved correctly.
Yes, schools can enable authentication so that only verified parents can access their content. This is a security feature to protect learner information.
The school may have given you access to certain groups based on your learner's grade or class. Contact the school if you believe you should have access to additional groups.
