How do I configure statement and payment settings?

How do I configure statement and payment settings?

This article covers how to configure the statement layout, cashless payment integration, bank details display, and email personalisation settings in Fease. These settings control what parents see when they receive a reminder.

Fease > Configuration > Settings

How do I enable statements with reminders?

Under Configuration > Settings, enable Email Statements. When active, a detailed statement showing a live view of outstanding amounts is included with all automated reminders. Parents can make payments directly from the statement if cashless integration is enabled.

How do I personalise emails with the principal's name?

Enable Personalise Emails in Settings. The principal's name is pulled from d6+ Plus Finance — any changes must be made there.

What payment and display settings are available?

  • Balance threshold: Hides accounts with a balance below a specified amount (e.g., R100) from the dashboard view.

  • Cashless integration: Enables the Pay Now button on statements so parents can pay online. If not enabled, the button will not appear.

  • Show bank details: Displays your school's bank details on the statement for manual EFT payments.

  • Statement layout: Choose between a two-column format (Amount and Balance) or a three-column format (Debit, Credit, and Balance).

Frequently asked questions

How do I enable the Pay Now button on statements?

Go to Configuration > Settings and enable Cashless Integration. The Pay Now button will then appear on all statements sent to parents.

Where do I change the principal's name that appears in emails?

The principal's name is sourced from d6+ Plus Finance. Update it there and it will sync to Fease automatically.

What is the difference between the two statement layouts?

The two-column layout shows Amount and Balance. The three-column layout shows Debit, Credit, and Balance, which is similar to the format used in d6+ Plus Finance.
