How do I read the Fease dashboard?

This article explains the key metrics, graphs, and summary information displayed on the Fease dashboard. It is intended for school administrators who need to understand their school's financial position at a glance.

Fease > Dashboard

What key metrics are displayed on the dashboard?

  • Missing contact information: Number of accounts with incomplete contact details. Fix these in d6+ Plus Finance.

  • Total outstanding: The school's overall outstanding fees (all-time). Decreases as payments are received or write-offs are processed. Does not deduct advanced payments.

  • Total in advance: Total paid-in-advance amounts (accounts with negative balances).

  • Total handed over: Amounts handed over to debt collectors in the current year.

  • Accounts with outstanding: Total number of accounts with an outstanding balance.

  • Pending actions: Follow-up actions awaiting processing.

What do the graphs and summaries show?

  • Aged balances: Outstanding amounts by age bracket (0–30 days, 31–60 days, 60–90 days, etc.). Hover over segments to see account count and total.

  • Category breakdown: Outstanding fees by type (school fees, registration fees, etc.).

  • Fee exemptions: Current-year exemption totals. Accounts with exemptions can be paused from follow-ups.

  • Cashless payments: Tracks payments via cashless methods — shows Paid or Expired status.

  • Promise-to-pays: Records of payment promises. Uncompleted promises are prioritised. Managed in d6+ Plus Finance.

  • Top 10 accounts: The ten largest outstanding balances for quick priority focus.

How current is the data on the dashboard?

Data is current as of the last sync. Hover over Sync Now in the navigation bar to check the last sync time, and click it to trigger a manual update.

Frequently asked questions

Can I drill down into specific accounts from the dashboard?

The dashboard provides a summary view. To view and manage individual accounts, navigate to Debtors > Accounts.

Why does the total outstanding not match d6+ Plus Finance?

Small differences can occur due to sync timing or how left-learner balances are displayed. Trigger a manual sync via Sync Now and compare again. See the article on balance differences for more detail.

Where do I manage promise-to-pay records?

Promise-to-pay records must be managed and marked as complete within d6+ Plus Finance. Fease displays them but does not allow direct editing.
