The system automatically accommodates national public holidays. Holidays assist with statistical reporting on attendance and prevent absences from being accidentally captured on a public holiday. If a national public holiday falls on a Sunday, the system automatically shifts it to Monday.

How do I add a holiday?
Click Load a holiday.
Select the Holiday type: once-off (for one calendar year only), annual or school holiday once-off.
Enter the Date and type the description in both Afrikaans and English.
Select whether Monday is a holiday if the day falls on a Sunday.
Click Add to save.
How do I edit a holiday?
Click on the circle to the left of the relevant holiday and click Edit.
Make the necessary changes and click Save.
How do I remove a holiday?
Click the dustbin icon next to the holiday, or select it with the circle and click Remove. Confirm with Yes.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add an extra school holiday that is not on the national list?
