Waiting List Admissions

Waiting List Admissions

A Waiting List is created from information about learners who have registered for the following year and learners who have completed their re-registration. The waiting list helps your school manage upcoming enrolments and make admission decisions.

My School > People > Learners > Year-end: Waiting List Admissions

How do I manage waiting lists?

  1. Click the blue eye icon next to the grade name to open the list of learners on the waiting list.

  2. Learners display in red until a decision is made. Select from:

    • Placed: The learner is admitted.

    • Not placed (keep on waiting list): The learner remains on the waiting list.

    • Withdrawn: The learner withdraws their application.

  3. Click Continue to save. Learners will then display in green.

Frequently asked questions

What does it mean when a learner displays in red?

A learner in red means a decision has not yet been made. Once you make a selection and click Continue, the learner will display in green.

Why are not all learners shown on the waiting list?

The waiting list only shows learners with an admission date in the following year and those who have completed their re-registration.

Where do I print the waiting list report?

Go to Reports > Learners > Learner Reports: Waiting Lists.
