Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Inactive and Deleted?

Inactive keeps the achievement type in the system for later re-use. Deleted removes it permanently. Use Inactive if you may need the type again in a future awards cycle.

Why must I enter the achievement name in both languages?

d6 supports bilingual school environments. Achievement type names display in the relevant language based on the system language setting for each user.

Can I delete the standard achievement types that came with the system?

Yes. The standard set (Medal, Trophy, Bursary, Badge, Certificate) can be edited or deleted if they are not applicable to your school's awards programme.
