Frequently asked questions

Do I need to create a new budget every year?

Yes. A separate budget must be created for each financial year. Alternatively, you can copy an existing budget to a new year — see Annual Budgets — Copying an existing budget.

Why do I need to enter the description in both English and Afrikaans?

d6 supports bilingual school environments. Entering descriptions in both languages ensures the budget is clearly labelled for all staff, regardless of their preferred language.

Can I create more than one budget for the same year?

Yes. You can create multiple budgets for the same year, each with a unique description. This is useful for schools that manage separate budgets for different funds or programmes.
