How to generate a Waiting Lists report

A waiting list displays information for learners enrolled for the next year, as well as learners whose re-registrations have already been indicated. Complete the re-registration process before generating this report to ensure preliminary figures for the following year are included.

How to generate a waiting list report

  1. Select what you would like to see on the report Show Waitlist: Full waiting list, Per grade, or With additional information.

  2. Choose whether Re-registration included should be included and whether to Highlight current re-registrations should be highlighted.

  3. Select the Year and arrange by Registration date or Alphabetical.

  4. Select the Grades from the left column and click the >> arrows to allocate them. The select Preview.

  5. If you chose With additional information, additional fields will appear. Configure the following:

  • Choose to print with Learner information or Parent information, in portrait or landscape, and set column header height.

  • For Learner information: choose to show Preferred name, full names, or both; select at least one information item and allocate with >>.

  • For Parent information: choose telephone numbers or addresses; select at least one item and allocate with >>.

  • Own column header information  option : No / Yes  to print own headers. If Yes, then you add new header or select from the predetermined list and allocate with >>. Use Up and Down to reorder.

  • Select the grades and allocate with >>.

  1. Click Preview to generate the report as a PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Why should the re-registration process be completed first?

Completing re-registration before generating the report ensures that preliminary enrolment figures for the following year are included, giving an accurate picture of expected learner numbers.

Can I generate the report for specific grades only?

Yes. Select the specific grades from the left column and allocate only those grades to the report. Use Per grade as the report type for a grade-by-grade breakdown.

Can I sort the waiting list alphabetically instead of by registration date?

Yes. Choose between Registration date and Alphabetical sorting in the report configuration before clicking Preview.
