How to generate a Project Detail report
The Project Detail report generates a PDF breakdown of all financial transactions linked to a project. You can view transactions across all periods or filter by a specific date range, and group results by transaction, register class, or linked learner.
Reports > Reports: Finances > Transactions > Project Detail
How do I generate a Project Detail report?
Choose whether to include all transactions or only those within a specific period.
Select the view type: By Transaction, By Register Class, or Per Linked Learners.
If you selected By Register Class, choose the relevant class or classes from the list, then select the project.
Click Preview to generate the PDF report. Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view it.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between viewing by Transaction, Register Class, and Per Linked Learners?
The Transaction lists all individual financial entries. By Register Class groups transactions by class, useful for multi-class projects. Per Linked Learners shows each learner who was linked to the project and their contribution.
Can I filter the report by date?
Yes. Choose a specific period in step 1 to limit the report to transactions within that date range, rather than showing all transactions on the project.
Where else can I access project transaction details?
You can also access a quick transaction summary by clicking the Balance hyperlink on the My Home > My Projects screen.
