How to set up and manage Subjects

How to set up and manage subjects in d6, including adding new subjects and linking them to grades and phases.

My School > System > Curriculum > Subjects

How do I add a subject?

  1. Navigate to My School > System > Curriculum > Subjects.
  2. Click Add Subject.
  3. Enter the subject name in English and Afrikaans.
  4. Select the phase and grade applicability.
  5. Click Save.

Frequently asked questions

Can I deactivate a subject I no longer use? Yes. Select the subject and click Deactivate. It will no longer appear in subject group or marks capture selections.
