How to use the Mark History

The Mark Log serves as a comprehensive audit trail that allows administrators to track the capturing, editing and removal of learner marks. It provides transparency on which staff members performed specific actions and when changes took place.

My School > Curriculum > Curriculum Setup > Mark History

How do I use the Mark Log?

  1. Select the Year, Curriculum, Grade, Learning Programme (Term), Subject, Task and specific Assessment.

  2. Filter by Subject Group (specific class or All) and Staff Member (specific user or All).

  3. Set the From Date and To Date for the audit period.

  4. To investigate a specific learner, set the Status and type the learner’s name in the Learner Search field.

  5. Click Pull Details to display the results. The system shows the Date, Staff Member, Action (Insert, Update or Remove) and the Previous/New Mark values. Click Reset to clear the filters.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the log show only one value for older records?

For records captured before 27 October 2023, the log shows only the final mark recorded. Full version history is available for all entries after this date.

Who has access to the Mark Log?

Only users with at least View rights for 2.1 Curriculum Setup. The log contains sensitive academic and staff performance data and access is restricted to protect privacy and data security.
