Grade R/1 Migration

Grade R/1 Migration

This report is used for the departmental Grade R/1 Migration survey. It generates a migration form containing school details, learner statistics, and authorisation fields for the principal and cluster leader.

Reports > DOE > Management > Grade R/1 Migration

How to generate the Grade R/1 Migration report

  1. Select the Year and click Generate Report to produce the form.

  2. The migration form will be generated with school details, learner statistics, and an authorisation and sign-off section for the Principal and Cluster Leader.

  3. The authorisation section requires the name, signature, and date. If the school principal is correctly set under the staff profile’s Main Category, their name and the date will be pre-populated on the report.

  4. Two stamps are required on the form: the school principal’s stamp and the Provincial Manager’s office stamp.

  5. To print the report, click the printer icon in the top right corner. To download, click the down arrow next to the printer icon.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the principal's name not printing on the form?

The principal’s name pre-populates only if they are set as principal under their staff profile’s Main Category. Verify that the staff profile has been correctly configured before generating the report.

Can I download the report instead of printing it?

Yes. Click the down arrow next to the printer icon to download the report in the available format.

Who completes the stamp sections on the form?

The school principal provides the school stamp, and the Provincial Manager’s office provides the second stamp. These must be added physically to the printed form before submission.
