The Absentees Report allows staff to generate a report on learner absenteeism based on custom filter selections. This article explains how to configure and generate the report.

Make your filter selections at the top of the screen to configure the report to best suit your needs.
Click Preview to generate the report as a PDF file.
The Absentees Report shows past absenteeism data already recorded in the system. The Attendance Register is a document used to record attendance going forward. Use Attendance Registers to capture attendance and the Absentees Report to view historical data.
Yes. Use the filter options at the top of the screen to narrow the report by grade, class, date range, or other available criteria before clicking Preview.
The report is generated as a PDF file. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader or a compatible PDF viewer to open and print the document.
Absenteeism is captured at My School > People > Learners > Attendance: Absentees or My School > People > Learners > Attendance: Learner Leave. The Absentees Report then draws on this recorded data.
The default output is PDF via the Preview button. Check the report options on screen — some absentee report variants offer an Export to Excel button depending on your user rights and the report type selected.
