How to set up and manage the Assets register

The Assets module enables schools to set up and manage a complete asset register, covering categories, locations, suppliers, importing and reporting.

What are the sections of the Assets register?

  • System Lookup: Asset categories, locations and conditions.
  • Asset Register: Add, edit, and view individual asset records.
  • Import: Bulk import assets from an Excel template.
  • Reports: Generate asset reports by category, location or condition.

How do I add an asset?

  1. Navigate to My School > System: Assets > Asset Register.
  2. Click Add Asset and complete the details: description, category, location, condition, purchase date and value.
  3. Click Save.

Frequently asked questions

Can I import a large list of assets? Yes. Use the Import function to download the Excel template, populate it, and upload the file.
