How to set up and use the d6+ Excel Tools add-in

The My d6+ Excel Tools add-in embeds directly into Microsoft Excel, giving you quick access to d6+ data exports from within your spreadsheet. Embedding is optional but convenient. Macros must be enabled in your Excel installation for the add-in to function.

My Home > My Information > My d6+ Excel Tools

Frequently asked questions

The add-in is not working after I enabled it — what should I do?

Try refreshing the worksheet first. If the issue persists, ensure macros are enabled and that you selected the correct (latest) version of the add-in in the Add-Ins list.

Do I need to install the add-in to use d6+ Excel exports?

No. Embedding the add-in is optional. You can still export data from d6+ to Excel without it — the add-in simply makes the process more convenient by embedding tools directly in Excel.

My macro settings are greyed out — why?

Your organisation’s system administrator may have locked macro settings. Contact your IT administrator to enable macros for your user profile.
