My d6+ Excel Tools

Overview

The My d6+ Excel Tools is a downloadable add-in that integrates directly into Microsoft Excel. It provides d6-specific functionality within Excel, such as data exports and calculations, directly from the Excel environment.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Download the d6+ Excel Tools

  • Click the option that says "Click here to download the d6+ Excel Apps Framework".

  • The file will appear in the bottom left corner of your screen.

  • Click the file to start the installation. Click Yes when prompted to allow the programme.

  • Click Next, then Next again, then Install, and finally Finish. Installation is now complete.

2. Activate the d6+ Excel Tool in Excel

  • Open a new document in Excel.

  • Click File > Options > Add-ins.

  • Under Inactive Application Add-ins, My d6+ Excel Tools will appear. Click on the entry and then click Go next to Manage Excel Add-ins.

  • Place a tick next to My d6+ Excel Tools and click OK.

  • The My d6+ Excel Tools option will now appear at the top of your taskbar, to the right of Excel Help.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to reinstall the Excel Tools each time?

No. Install it once. After activating it in Excel’s Add-ins settings, it will remain available in your toolbar for future use.

Why doesn’t the toolbar appear in Excel?

Ensure the add-in is activated via File > Options > Add-ins. If it appears under Inactive Application Add-ins, follow the activation step above.
