Staff Absences

The Staff Absences function generates reports for staff absences/leave per category or per staff member. In the d6+ system, absences/leave can be loaded for any date and term dates are used for totals.

Reports > Staff > Staff: Absences

Report per Categories

  1. Select Absences for and choose Categories.

  2. Select For staff paid by: Department of Education, Governing Body or Other.

  3. Select the desired categories in the left column and move them to the right.

  4. Click the View button. The report is generated as a PDF.

Report per Staff Member

  1. Select Absences for and choose Staff (Current) or Staff (Departed).

  2. Select For staff paid by: any entity, DOE or Governing Body.

  3. Select the relevant staff members in the left column and move them to the right.

  4. Click View. Print the report as needed.

Frequently asked questions

Can I view absences for any date range?

Yes. The system allows absences/leave to be loaded for any date. You can then generate the report for the applicable term or period to view the totals.

Can I generate the report for more than one staff member?

Yes. Select all the relevant staff members in the left column and move them to the right column before clicking View.

Which entities can I filter on?

You can filter on Department of Education, Governing Body or Other for category reports, and on any entity, DOE or Governing Body for the per-person report.
