Staff Subjects

Staff Subjects links staff members to the subjects they teach, which controls timetable assignments and marks capture rights.

My School > People > Staff > Staff Overview: Subjects

How do I assign a subject to a staff member?

  1. Open the staff member's Staff Overview.
  2. Click the Subjects tab.
  3. Click Add Subject.
  4. Select the grade, subject and academic year.
  5. Click Save.

Frequently asked questions

Does assigning a subject give the staff member marks capture access? Assigning a subject here creates the link. Full marks capture rights must still be configured in Marks Capture Rights.
