This article explains how to complete the class setup in d6+. Ensure that register class setup has been completed first before beginning these steps.
My School > People > Staff > Classrooms
Before you can complete the class setup, register class setup must already have been completed at My School > Staff > Classrooms. An indication must also have been given of which register classes will be used.
Click on the empty circle next to the class name and click the Edit button.
Enter a name for the register class.
Select the Classroom number.
Select the teacher for the classroom.
Click the Save button to save the changes.
Repeat these steps for each classroom.
Complete these steps only when you are certain that all prerequisites have been met. The administrative year-end cannot be rolled back, and any bulk changes applied will need to be changed manually.
If the class is not displayed, it is possible that register class setup has not yet been completed. Go to My School > Staff > Classrooms and ensure that all classes are correctly set up.
Yes, you can go back to the class setup at any time and edit the teacher for a specific classroom by selecting the class and using the Edit button.
You can select the class again and edit the information. Note, however, that changes after year-end processing cannot be rolled back automatically.
Yes, at the beginning of each academic year the class setup must be done again to ensure that the correct teachers and classrooms are assigned.
