How to generate the Discipline Report

The Discipline Report generates an overview of learner or staff discipline items for the selected period. The report can also be emailed to parents.

How do I generate the Discipline Report?

  1. Select for whom the report must be generated.

  2. Select the period for which the report must be generated.

  3. For the first three Learner report types: choose whether to display the educator, marks, and All Items / Recognitions / Violations, and whether to show only learners with items.

  4. Select Yes under Show comments to display comments.

  5. Select Yes under Display categories to display categories.

  6. Under Print in language, select whether to print the report in the language of instruction, Afrikaans or English.

  7. Select Yes under Show detention actions to display detention actions.

  8. Select the register classes, learners or staff members on the left and allocate them using the arrows.

  9. Select the Conduct Code Categories you want to include and allocate them using the arrows.

  10. Select an action:
      Preview — generates a preview of the report.
      Email — sends the reports by email to the parents of the selected learners or classes.
      Edit email template — edit the text sent with the report. Use the available fields on the right to personalise the email.

  • Note: Learner emails are sent in each parent's correspondence language. Register class and staff detail emails are sent to the class teacher in their home language.

Can I email the Discipline Report to parents?

Yes. Select the relevant learners or classes and click Email. The system sends the report in each parent's correspondence language. Use Edit email template to personalise the accompanying message.
