How to set up Holidays in d6, which excludes specific dates from the school attendance calendar.

How do I add a holiday?

  1. Navigate to My School > System > General > Calendars > Holidays.
  2. Click Add Holiday.
  3. Enter the holiday name and select the date.
  4. Choose whether it is a public holiday or a school holiday.
  5. Click Save.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a holiday and a calendar event? Holidays are excluded from attendance calculations — learners are not marked absent on those days. Calendar events are informational only and do not affect attendance.
