Set up and manage academic terms

Set up and manage academic terms to define the school year structure used across attendance, marks and reporting.

How do I set up an academic term?

  1. Click Add Term.
  2. Enter the term name, start date and end date.
  3. Select the academic year it belongs to.
  4. Click Save.

Frequently asked questions

Can terms overlap? No. Term date ranges must not overlap within the same academic year.

How many terms can I set up? Typically four terms per year, but the system supports any number of terms per academic year.
