This module is used to set up the different venues at the school. All the assets will be allocated to these venues.
It is not compulsory to plot the location on the map.

  1. Click the 'Add New'-button to add a new location/venue.

  2. First add the main venues (Parent locations). E.g School Grounds (Parent location)

  3. The next level (Siblings) can be added under the Parent level. E.g.  Block 1 (Sibling location)

  4. A third level (Current location)can be added below the second level by selecting the 2nd level in the "Location Parent"
  5. The status of each location can be indicated as Active, Inactive or Deleted.
  6. If you are creating a classroom (Current Location), indicate it on the check box and select the classroom number for this location.

  7. If you would like to plot the locations of the venue on the map, start with the parent locations and work down to Sibling and Current locations.
Indicate by clicking on the different corners of your school building.

  8. On the map, you will see up to three colours:

    • Red entries indicate the parent location. The location that you plot should not be outside the parent's location.

    • Blue entries indicate the siblings' locations. These are locations that are on the same level as the one you are plotting. They should not overlap each other.

    • Green entries indicate the current location you are plotting. This should be within the parent location and should not overlap the siblings' locations.
