How to process Code of Conduct actions


PROCESS AN ACTION - GENERAL INFORMATION

The processing of actions can be accessed in two ways:

  1. A task will be displayed when you log onto the System 
  2. Click on the hyperlink 'here' to view the list OR
  3. Click on My School - Code of Conduct - Action Processing 

Process:  Notice Letter 1 to Parents (Also known as Letter of Transgression (No Detention)

  1. If you selected "Notice Letter 1 to Parents (no of Letters)"
NOTE:  PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT EVERY SELECTION YOU MADE IS CORRECT.  THERE IS NO WAY TO EDIT THE DATE ONCE YOU HAVE CLICKED ON THE  CONTINUE BUTTON. 
  1. Select the date of the letter.
    Choose the learners applicable by clicking in the  tick box next to the learner's name. If a learner should not receive a letter, do not tick the box next to the learners name. 
  2. Click on the continue button to proceed if you are certain that all your selections are correct.
  3. To print the letters, click on Preview. The letters will be displayed. 
  4. Click on the print icon. This will open your normal printing screen.  Click on the Print button to print.
  5. If you would like to save the letters to your hard drive for possible later reference, .
  6. Click on the download button.  Make your selection to save to your hard drive.
  7. After you have printed, close the screen by clicking on the top right corner button.
  8. Click on the continue button to return to the Action Processing main screen.

Process:  Notice of detention

  1. If you selected for example "Notice of detention (no of Letters)".
  2. Select the date of the letter.
  3. Select the Location for detention and the applicable staff member.
  4. Select the date of detention.
  5. Select the start and end time for detention.
  6. Choose the learners applicable by clicking on the tick box next to the learner's name. If a learner should not receive a letter, unlink the learner by clicking in the tick box next to the learner name. 
  7. Click on the continue button to proceed if you are certain that all your selections are correct.
  8. To print the letters, follow the instructions.
  9. Click on the  continue button to return to the Action Processing main screen.

Process:  Notice Letter of interview with parents

If you selected "Notice Letter of interview with parents (no of Letters)"


NOTE: PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT EVERY SELECTION YOU MADE IS CORRECT. THERE IS NO WAY TO EDIT THE DATES, LOCATION FOR INTERVIEW, THE TIMES OR THE LEARNERS ONCE YOU HAVE CLICKED ON THE BUTTON.  

  1. Select the date of the letter.
  2. Select the Location for interview.
  3. Select the date of interview.
  4. Select the start and end time for detention.
  5. Choose the learners applicable by clicking on the tick box next to the learner's name. If a learner should not receive a letter, unlink the learner by clicking in the tick box next to the learner name.
  6. Click on the continue button to proceed if you are certain that all your selections are correct.
  7. To print the letters, follow the instructions.
  8. Click on the continue button to return to the Action Processing main screen.

Process:  Notice Letter of interview with SGB

If you selected "Notice Letter of interview with SGB (nr of Letters)".
NOTE:  PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT EVERY SELECTION YOU MADE IS CORRECT.  THERE IS NO WAY TO EDIT THE DATES, LOCATION FOR INTERVIEW, THE TIMES OR THE LEARNERS ONCE YOU HAVE CLICKED ON THE  BUTTON.  

    1. Select the date of the letter.
    2. Select the Location for interview.
