d6 Connect Learner Parent/Viewers

Type <Ctrl> <F> to search for words in the article.

When parents register on the App, they are automatically linked to their learners.  Other people (eg. au pairs and grandparents) can also download the app but will need authorisation from the parent to link to a learner.  These people are called learner Viewers and they will not be able to see the Financial information. They connect to the learner by entering the parent's ID and the learner's ID on the app.  An OTP (one time pin)  will be sent to the parent, who will have to provide this pin to the learner Viewer to allew them to successfully link to the learner.

View / Remove People Viewing a learner

  • Enter the learner's name to search for the learner's viewers.
  • Select the relevant learner from the list to display the list of people viewing this learner.
  • To remove a viewer you can select the person and then click on "remove".
  • The system will prompt: " This function will remove 'person' as a viewer of 'Learner name'. Are you sure you want to continue?"
  • Click on Yes to confirm
  • Note that once the person is removed as a viewer the parents/guardian of the learner will have to approve the person again to enable the person to view the learner.
Note: Registered Parents per Class list

Class lists to indicate registered parents can be printed at REPORTS > Class lists. Select to print Parent information and choose "Registered for Connect?".
