How to Log In to the Student Portal

The Student Portal is not a separate website or app — it lives inside the d6 Communicator App. This article guides students, parents, and viewers through the login process step by step.

How to log in

  1. Download the d6 Communicator App from the App Store or Google Play, or access the desktop or web version via your browser.

  2. Enter the email address or cellphone number the school has registered for you. Click Continue.

  3. Enter the one-time pin (OTP) sent to your registered email address or cellphone number. Click Continue. If the OTP does not arrive, check your spam or junk folder. If it has expired, request a new one.

  4. If prompted, add a recovery mobile number or click Skip to bypass this step.

  5. Click Student Portal on the app home screen. Select your school and click Proceed to enter the portal.

I did not receive my OTP — what should I do?

First, check your spam or junk folder. If the OTP has expired, request a new one from the login screen. If the problem persists, confirm with your school that the correct email address or cellphone number is registered on your learner profile.

My login is not being recognised — what could be wrong?

The email address or cellphone number you enter must match exactly what the school has on record. Even a small difference will prevent access. Contact your school's administration to confirm the details registered for you.

Is there a separate website or app for the Student Portal?

No. The Student Portal is accessed entirely through the d6 Communicator App. There is no standalone website or separate login page for the portal.
